Team La Clave
Team La Clave is our award-winning Salsa on-1 performance team. The team learns and trains world-class Salsa choreographies, both shines and partnered work, and enjoys performance opportunities locally and at interstate festivals.
The team is a collaboration between Dance Culture and Latin Steps, and it is open not just to our students but to the entire Brisbane Salsa community.
Carlos & Elli of Latin Steps
Team La Clave trains under Australian champions Carlos & Elli: passionate performers, creative choreographers, and the powerhouse duo behind World Salsa Solo and the Brisbane Latin Dance Festival.
Expect epic choreographies, sharp technique, musicality, sabor, and a whole lot of fun.
Who can join
Team La Clave is most suitable for Salsa dancers of intermediate to advanced level. If you have at least 6 months of Salsa dancing experience, you are most likely good to go.
How to join
- We accept new team members at two or three intakes per year. Email us to register your interest and we will let you know when the next intake opens.
- Come to the free info session & audition. It is a low-pressure chance to see what Team La Clave is all about and decide if it is right for you.
- Join the team. Learn the choreography, train together, and take the stage at local events and interstate festivals.
